Everything You Need to Know About Your Prostate - and Those Parts "Down There"

Author, James Norris, has written a tell-all book filled with information that men (and women) need to know about the prostate and those other parts that are seriously connected to it. But don't think that Norris' book, To Pee or Not to Pee is a boring medical report. It's entertaining and informative - filled with amusing historical accounts beginning with the first man, Adam, and chronicling "peeing" problems that stem from prostate maladies.

Cures for prostate problems are also discussed - from the time of the Babylonians, when prostates weren't even known of, through the times of the brilliant Venetian anatomists - one of whom discovered the prostate gland. Prostate cancer wasn't identified until 1853, but curative methods were poor and men didn't have much of a chance to survive once the cancer was detected. So eventually, medical experts took the approach that "if you can't cure it, get rid of it."

In 1904, Dr. Hugh Young performed the first perineal prostatectomy and after that progress was steadily made to refine treating the prostate without having to resort to chemical castration or removal of the gland. Norris' book, To Pee or Not to Pee, is full of facts and descriptions, but he does it in a way that keeps the readers turning pages and likely laughing out loud.

Beware that Norris uses words that are seldom used in medical reports. Rather than "penis," Norris uses more colorful versions of the same word, such as willie, cojones, Mr. Happy, dick and pecker. It definitely catches your attention - and keeps the book from becoming just another boring medical account about the demise (or NOT) of an extremely important part of a man's inner workings.

Although the book reads like a good satire or comedic writing, Norris manages to get across that the prostate has much to do with other ills of the "plumbing" and "recreation area" between men's legs. Norris certainly did his research in a big way and you'll learn about medical breakthroughs both available now and the possibility of future treatments.

One of the chapters in To Pee or Not to Pee, Upside, Downside, addresses both the downside and the upside of drugs that are now available and explains how the testing for treatment of the prostate gland is accomplished. Abiraterone is one of the new drug treatments that Norris discusses. Although the drug isn't available now, except through clinical testing, it promises to be a breakthrough treatment of cancerous prostates by blocking key hormones that cause the cancer.

Norris does a fantastic job of explaining the inner workings of the prostate and how certain abnormalities in it can affect a man's urinating and sexual capabilities. To Pee or Not to Pee makes you smile and also helps you to learn about the complex system made up of those "parts down there."

I recently discovered Joseph Matthews book "The Art Of Approaching Women", and I am completely amazed by it. I'm usually very skeptical about these sorts of books, but I really believe that Joseph has done this one right.

"The Art Of Approaching Women" is a dating and seduction course, basically providing step-by-step instructions for men to approach and attract women. This book covers all the key areas a guy needs, from meeting a woman, approaching her, getting to know her and so on.

"The Art Of Approaching" is built into 6 main categories, which makes this book so user friendly. It isn't difficult to find what your looking for within the book, due to the smooth layout Joseph has created. The six main categories include: Body language, confidence, approaching, flirting, storytelling and being social.

The thing that I love most about this book is the "confidence" and "approaching" sections. Instead of focusing on how to look better, act better and do things that aren't yourself to attract women, Joseph focuses on teaching you how to feel more comfortable in your own skin, and how to approach women with confidence. Lets face it, men hate getting rejected, and most guys just need some help getting over that fear.

Modeling - Plastic Modeling Kits Considered

As a teenager, and even starting as early as age 6, I liked to build plastic models. At one point I think I had built every single 1:172 scale plastic model which existed. I built race cars, army tanks, HO scale rail-road buildings, and nearly every possible aircraft. The author of this book is a master modeler, and this book is well illustrated. Mr. Jack C. Harris has written an excellent book and he has included chapters about; plastic model kits, how to choose your first plastic kit to build, and how you can work your way up in skill. He also explains the tools you will need to build these models, along with the glues, and paints. There is a great section on airbrushing, and I wish I had this book back when I was a teenager because I could have really used it.

Would you like to learn how to customize your plastic models once you are completed, there is a chapter on that as well. And there is information on how to win and enter contests, and where to display your plastic models where they will be viewed the most. You'd be surprised that museums will be happy to have your plastic models if they are done correctly, and you can even enter them in the local county fair for prizes and accolades.

In the book there is information on joining master modeler clubs, or even how to make your own club with other local hobbyists. And if you are worried about using the right terminology when talking to your modeling friends, then there is a complete glossary in the back, so you use the proper buzzwords. Indeed, I hope you will please consider this if you plan on building plastic models for profit, or as a hobby. Please think on it.
